A son of More Than Ready, Made You Look was a 2015 Keeneland September Sales yearling purchase. After a second on his debut at two, Made You Look broke his maiden in impressive style, scoring over six furlongs on turf at Belmont in a very rapid 1:08.23. On just his third start the Let’s Go color-bearer stamped himself as one of the best juvenile turf colts in the country, his decisive turn of foot seeing him take the grade two With Anticipation Stakes by two lengths. Made You Look’s bid for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (gr. I) was compromised by a wide trip, but he was still beaten little more than five lengths for the win.

Made You Look’s three-year-old season began with a second graded stakes victory. In the grade three Dania Beach Stakes, his blow-torch finish scorched the field, leaving him with an impressive 2½ lengths triumph.  Denied racing room when a close third – and clearly much the best – in the Kitten’s Joy Stakes, Made You Look again met a slew of traffic problems when beaten just a length in the Charlie Barley Stakes at Woodbine in his final outing for Let’s Go.
