Made You Look saved ground throughout and shot through a narrow opening on the rail to score a convincing two length win in the With Anticipation S. (G2) at Saratoga on Wednesday afternoon VIDEO.
Breaking a step slow from post position 2 of 8, Made You Look was taken in hand early by Javier Castellano looking to secure a good stalking position through the first turn. After an opening quarter mile in :24.26, Made You Look seemed to rate well under Castellano as they raced down the backstretch less than two lengths off the pacesetter, Gemologister (1).
Saving all the ground through a half mile in :49.34, Made You Look continued to travel well as they approached the far turn. Down inside on the rail, Made You Look seemed poised to kick on while Castellano waited patiently for an opening.
At the top of the stretch, a weakening Gemologister vacated the rail enough for Made You Look to see daylight and make a bold inside bid. Made You Look quickened nicely and kicked clear under a brisk hand ride to open an advantage on the field crossing the wire two lengths in front of morning line favorite Keep Quiet (7) in a final time of 1:43.12 CHART.
