September 2018

No one has raced more talent offspring of More Than Ready than Let’s Go Racing, who have campaigned such More Than Ready stars as the Haskell Invitational Stakes (G1) and Wood Memorial Stakes (G1) victor Verrazano;  spectacular Champagne Stakes (G1) captor Daredevil; Made You Look, a graded stakes winner at two and three; and Ready’s Echo, a classic-placed winner of over $500,000. A three-time Leading Sire of Two-Year-Olds in North America and Australia, More Than Ready’s other Northern Hemisphere standouts include Champion Sprinter Roy H; Catholic Boy winner of the Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes (G1)  and Travers Stakes (G1) in 2018; Funtastic, who captured the 2018 renewal of the United Nations Handicap (G1); and additional grade one winners Regally Ready, Rushing Fall, Room Service and Buster’s Ready.

This filly is out of Edit, a daughter of Unbridled’s Song, a brilliant racehorse and sire, and now broodmare sire of more than 150 stakes winners, nearly 80 of them graded, and 17 grade one, among them Champion Unique Bella, as well as such as Carpe Diem, Tourist, General Quarters, Moonshine Memories, Magnum Moon and Voodoo Song . In a career cut short by injury, Edit demonstrated exceptional potential as a runner. Third on the turf on her debut, she led from wire-to-wire to take a Belmont Park maiden special weight by 7¾ lengths when switching to the dirt for her only other start. Edit’s first foal, the promising Our Circle of Love, was recently second in a maiden special weight at Saratoga. She is also dam of a two-year-old colt by Scat Daddy.

Edit is a half-sister to the Pebbles Stakes winner, Miss Catalyst. The granddam, the stakes winning Tale of the Cat daughter, Key to the Cat, is a half-sister to the four-time stakes winner, Pete’s Sake. Key to the Cat is out of the stakes placed Pleasant Colony mare, Key to Paradise, a half-sister to the classic-placed graded stakes winner Shiny Key, and to Eden Ridge, the granddam of Paradise Dancer, a graded stakes winner who has five black-type victories to his credit. From an outstanding Darby Dan family, Key to Paradise is out of a half-sister to Champion Three-Year-Old Filly Tempest Queen; to Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes (G2) winner Love You By Heart, also the dam of stakes winner Makethemostofit; to graded winning and grade one placed Steal A Kiss; to graded stakes winning and grade one placed Kid Russell; and to the dams of group and graded winners Something True and Jambalaya Jazz.

This very attractive filly is the product of the More Than Ready/Unbridled’s Song cross that has already produced five graded stakes winners, including Let’s Go’s own Made You Look, Copper Bullet, one of the fastest two-year-olds of his crop, and juvenile graded scorers Brightexpectactions and Colour.
