Let’s Go’s Medaglia d’Oro colt is half-brother to the talented filly L’Amour de Ma Vie. Racing in Dubai, L’Amour de Ma Vie produced and outstanding performance to defeat Champion and classic winner Flotilla and group one winner Certify for the Balanchine (gr. II). She also captured second in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes (gr. II) at Royal Ascot, in a field which contained four current or future group or grade one winners.
This colt is out of Cuaba, a speedy daughter of Champion Sprinter Smoke Glacken. A four-time winner, Cuaba recovered from a stumble at the start to miss by just ¾ length in the Gallant Bloom Handicap (gr. II) and was also second in the Winning Colors Stakes (gr. III).
The granddam, Libertaire, won 4 races in France and the U.S., earning black-type with a victory in the 8½ furlong Solo Haina Handicap.
