The international publication, Thoroughbred Daily News, named Verrazano a "TDN Rising Star" after a dominating performance to win his debut by 7 3/4 lengths on new year's day at Gulfstream Park. In the following days after his brillaint performance, Verrazano has been recognized by several media outlets including the Daily Racing Form.
