Two-Year-Olds Pick It Up in Florida
November 23, 2012
The stable currently has three juveniles in training with Todd Pletcher at Palm Meadows Training Center in Boynton Beach, FL - Broadway Hat, Verrazano, and Harborinthetempest. All three have been doing quite well, improving each week since their arrival last month, and we're very pleased with how they've progressed while taking on a "heavier" workload.

Broadway Hat, a New York-Bred colt by Ready's Image who ran second in his only career start, has been training forwardly including his latest 1/2 mile breeze in 48.19 on 11/19. He has good speed and can certainly be dangerous in aNew York-Bred maiden special weight at Aqueduct.
Verrazano, the half-brother to El Padrino (G2), has been coming along very nicely over the last couple months. He has a beautiful stride and looks fantastic on the track. He most recently breezed a bullet 1/2 mile in 47.55 on 11/20 and will continue on a weekly work schedule while aiming a maiden special weight race at Gulfstream Park.
Harborinthetempest, a filly by More Than Ready, has been coming along, improving each week. She recently had her first half mile breeze in 49.72 on 11/20 and went well. All her works have been on the dirt track thus far, and we'll likely try her on turf before her debut as her pedigree suggests sod could move her up.
