Stable Update - July

July 29, 2011

It's been a slow month for the stable as we only had 3 starts, tallying a second, fourth and fifth. We expect more action in August, especially at the Spa where a couple 2-year-olds look to make their debuts.

4-YEAR-OLDS

No Shenanigans (Monmouth Park, NJ) - Finished 4th going a flat mile at Monmouth Park. We're looking at a race going 6 furlongs next time out.

3-YEAR-OLDS

Razmataz (Belmont Park, NJ) - He is going to the track daily and we're considering our options with this colt. He has tailed off some of late, finishing 5th at Belmont Park earlier this month.

Holiday Flare (PTC Ocala, FL) - Her half-sister, Candrea, won impressively at Hollywood Park on July 7th. Holiday Flare continues to do well in Ocala.

High Strider (Monmouth Park, NJ) - She finished a good 2nd at Monmouth Park on July 15th beaten a head by an older, hard-knocking mare who was game winning wire-to-wire. We'll keep an eye on Saratoga for her next start.

Mayday Maria (Monmouth Park, NJ) - She breezed 1/2 mile in :50 on 7/24 and went well. She is pointing for a $25,000/N2L claiming race on the dirt at Monmouth Park.

2-YEAR-OLDS

More Than Minted (PTC Ocala, FL) - She recently shipped to Ocala for some R&R.

El Padrino (Saratoga, NY) - Breezed 1/2 mile from the gate in :51 on 7/24 and went well. He is due to breeze Sunday (7/31) and is pointing for a debut going 6 1/2 furlongs at Saratoga on Saturday, August 6th.

Imperial March (Monmouth Park, NJ) - Breezed 1/2 mile from the gate in :5i on 7/24 and will continue on a weekly work schedule. We shipped him to Monmouth Park earlier this week to see how he handles to the surface.

English Major (Saratoga, NY) - He is scheduled to breeze on the turf on Monday (8/1) and is pointing for a debut going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Saratoga on Saturday, August 6th.

Dixie Dice (PTC Ocala, FL) - He has been doing very well in Ocala, and we look forward to his return later this summer.

Sacred Tradition (PTC Ocala, FL) - Back in training and doing well. We hope to have him in training with Todd Pletcher by September.

Sensing Victory (PTC Ocala, FL) - Given some time off to develop.
