Ready to Tango was out-footed early but finished well to earn show in her debut going 5 furlongs on the turf at Gulfstream Park yesterday afternoon VIDEO

Breaking from post position 3 of 9, Ready to Tango was flat out of the gate under Javier Castellano and out-footed early, giving up precious ground as Justabreathaway (4) sprinted through an opening quarter mile in :21.64. Racing around the far turn, Ready to Tango was nearly nine lengths off the lead with only two panels to go.

Coming out of the far turn, Castellano angled out slightly for racing room as Ready to Tango found her best stride. Cruising through the lane, she finished very well passing several rivals and nearly taking place beaten 1 1/4 lengths by the winner Don't Make Fun (7) in a final time of :56.80 CHART

Castellano was impressed with the filly and very encouraged with her effort while galloping out best of all past the wire. After the opening quarter mile, she ran the fastest splits and managed to close the final panel in :11.83 as the only filly to break twelve seconds.
