As you can see, El Padrino has put on some good weight but is by no means a "heavy horse". His coat looked great and although he was expected to lose some conditioning, he's still very attractive and athletic in appearance.
The training facility offers state-of-the-art amenities including an aquiciser, aquatred, hyperbaric chamber, and oversized barns. The seven-furlong polytrack is a forgiving surface to train over, and their half-mile uphill straight away allows for specific training programs.

The oversized barn provides ideal conditions for the horses. The shed row is very spacious with an abundance of natural light and giant, ultra-quiet ceiling fans which create great air flow. His stall is also quite spacious and open providing a great living environment.
Overall, El Padrino is enjoying his time off and doing very well. We're excited to see him progress through the summer and into fall, and although we have no specific details to offer on his return to the races, he should be back in training relatively soon.
