El Padrino Set for the Remsen Stakes

El Padrino will take on a telented field of two-year-olds this afternoon in the Remsen Stakes (G2) at Aqueduct. Coming off an impressive maiden victory at Belmont Park over a sloppy track, El Padrino is the morning line secong choice at 7/2.

Over the past few weeks, El Padrino has been training over Belmont Park's training track. He breezed 5/8 of a mile in 1:01 flat on 11/13 and another 5/8 in 1:00 3/5 on 11/20. Both workouts went very well, and he's been doing great overall.
