Dk.b./br.f. by MEDAGLIA D’ORO – VIADUCT by THUNDER GULCH

On the track, Medaglia d’Oro was among the best of his generation, winning such contests as the Whitney Handicap (G1), Donn Handicap (G1) and Travers Stakes (G1), and earning over $5,700,000. Now, with his first crop two-year-olds, the son of Leading Sire El Prado is at the forefront of the Freshman Sires' race. At time of writing he has already been represented by ten first crop two-year-old winners, and four stakes horses, including stakes winner Renda, and C. S. Silk, highly impressive winner of the Arlington-Washington Lassie Stakes (G3) and now pointing towards the Breeders’ Cup. With an eye to this filly’s future it is worth noting that all four of Medaglia d’Oro’s stakes horses to date are fillies.

Let’s Go’s Medaglia d’Oro filly is out of the regally-bred Viaduct. Already dam of $117,485 earner Lady Hartwood, Viaduct is by Thunder Gulch, Kentucky Derby (G1) winner, Champion Three-Year-Old and Leading Sire. She is half-sister to Champion Two-Year-Old Filly Phone Chatter, herself dam of New York graded stakes winner Cat Chat, and granddam of the 2007 Norfolk Stakes (G1) victor Dixie Chatter.

This filly is the product of the El Prado/Mr. Prospector cross, a nick which has produced no less than 14 stakes winners, including two graded stakes winners, as well as a stakes winner out of a mare by Gulch, the grandsire of this mare.
