Formed in 2006 by Managing Members Kevin Scatuorchio and Bryan Sullivan, LGS provides you, the owner, with the thrill and excitement of owning top quality racehorses that compete at the highest level in thoroughbred horseracing. Our business plan is designed to decrease the random nature of the selection process, thereby significantly increasing the odds of financial success. Over the last three years, we have purchased highly sought after prospects at the premier yearling and two-year-old in training sales across the country and have experienced success that is well ahead of most industry averages. Our greatest strength is our Team of industry leaders who collectively have over 100 years of experience in their respected professions. Lead by four-time eclipse award winning trainer Todd Pletcher, our team also includes J.J. Pletcher (Trainer), Dr. Scott Hay, DVM (Veterinary Consultant), and Alan Porter (Pedigree Consultant). For LGS and associates, the Team has already been responsible for the purchase of such prominent runners as Turf Champion English Channel; Grade 1 winner and leading International sire More Than Ready; multiple Grade 1 winner Scat Daddy; Graded Stake winners Ready's Image, Ready to Please, Ready's Gal, and Silent Valor; and classic performer and 2009 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) runner-up, Ready's Echo.

 The philosophy

Aside from our exceptional Team, another significant distinction of LGS is our assurance of professionalism and integrity in our overall business philosophy. We are committed to the highest standard of ethical behavior and always operate with our owner's best interests in mind. Unlike many partnerships, LGS does NOT mark-up any purchases, and we simplify owning a racehorse with our ONE-TIME investment feature. Your initial investment will include all training costs as well as any transportation, veterinary, and blacksmith services - there are NO capital calls. In addition, we are a performance-based business which rewards you, the investor, first and Managing Members second. We do not rely on contractual fees or unwarranted operating costs. These fundamental yet significant business ideologies provide our owners with a sense of security and confidence that their investment is a sound one.

While all of our runners are conditioned by Todd Pletcher, we aim to race not only on a national level from coast-to-coast, but on an international landscape as well. With major international racing days in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and significant meets such as the Breeders' Cup weekend in the United States, Royal Ascot in England, World Cup Festival in Dubai, and Royal Randwick Carnival in Australia, there is now more global competition than ever. Attracting elite runners from across the world, international racing has become highly lucrative and desirable and is without a doubt a trend which promises to continue and accelerate in years to follow.
